Background
Our students continue to excel both academically and in their practical vocational skills. These courses will help you to develop the skills and knowledge needed for either higher education or employment and lead to recognised qualifications for entry to degree courses. You will be expected to work hard and will receive the support of caring teachers who want to see you succeed. The College facilities are designed for effective learning and you will study in a safe and healthy environment. Level 3 vocational qualifications are the equivalent to A-Levels.
With outstanding facilities and experienced industry trained teaching staff you are able to participate in 'real' work experience taught by experts in their subject fields.
Vocational experience available:
- Fully operational Travel Agent
- Commercial Restaurant open to the general public
- Extensive sporting facilities both at the college and on the Loughborough University campus
- Hairdressing Salon and Complimentary Therapy rooms
- Music Studio, rehearsal and performance areas
- Electrical and Engineering Technology Centre
Entry Requirements
4 GCSE grades A–C or an equivalent international qualification. Students will also need an IELTS 5.0 or an equivalent English level qualification.
Assessment
Students are assessed through assignments, end of unit tests and final course examinations.

- BTEC Extended Diploma in Interactive Media – 2 years
- BTEC Extended Diploma in Art and Design – 2 years
- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music – 2 years

- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts – 2years
- Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments – 1 year
- BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Beauty Therapy Sciences – 2 years
- Level 3 Professional Chef Diploma in Advanced Cookery Techniques – 1 year
