Foundation & Top-Up Degree Courses
Foundation Degrees and Top-Up Degrees
A 2 Programme year starting in September each year. We also deliver Top-Up Degrees in association with Loughborough University, University of Warwick, Nottingham Trent University and Leeds Metropolitan University.
Background
Foundation degrees are equivalent to an HND with a focus on vocational study in a specific subject area. After successful completion students will be awarded a Foundation Degree in their chosen subject or are able to progress to study for a further year to complete a full honours degree. The main advantages for international students in choosing a foundation degree programme at Loughborough College are the much smaller class sizes, tutor support and lower tuition fees.
Entry Requirements
Students should be aged 18 years or over and have a minimum of two A-Level passes or an Advanced Vocational A-Level or BTEC National or another Level 3 qualification, together with an IELTS score of 5.5 or 6 depending on the subject chosen.
