Pre-Arrival Information

ALL NEW STUDENTS NEED TO COME TO THE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE AT 9.15 AM ON THEIR FIRST DAY.

The International Office is located near the main college reception.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • The Unconditional offer letter
  • Your home address translated into English
  • Your original school/university certificates
  • Your English Language certificates - if applicable
  • Your passport and visa/biometric ID card
  • Details of any medical conditions (translated into English) e.g. diabetes, asthma, allergies etc.
  • Make sure you know the full contact details of your parents, guardian or relative in case we need to contact them in an emergency.
  • Bring with you a bank draft/cheque/credit or debit card to pay tuition and accommodation fees. If you have already paid by bank transfer, please bring a copy of the bank transfer. Please avoid travelling with large amounts of cash.

What will I be doing during the induction period?

  • Registration and payment of tuition and accommodation fees
  • English testing and assessment
  • Meeting subject and progress tutors and the International Team
  • Getting my timetable
  • Opening a Bank Account
  • Registering with the Police - if required
  • Information about the college facilities and services: Learning Resource Centre, tutor-supported Language Zone, Multi-Faith Room, Careers Advice, Enrichment programme e.g. sports, college magazine, music etc.

Information about Loughborough Town and the campus facilities.

Tuition Fees Tuition fees are not refundable. When a change of study is necessary fees are transferred to the new course.
