Studying in the UK

Progress Tutorials

Progress tutorials are an important part of studying at Loughborough College.  Every student has a Progress Tutor who they meet regularly to review their progress and agree targets for improvement.  If you have any concerns about your studies or any personal matters which are affecting you, your Progress Tutor will be able to offer advice.

Prepare for Success

Although your teachers at Loughborough College will do all they can to help you to adjust to studying in the UK, before you leave home look at the information on the Prepare for Success website (http://www.prepareforsuccess.org.uk/). There are lots of useful tips about how to study independently, avoid plagiarism, give presentations and much more.  These resources are aimed at students with a level of English equivalent to IELTS 5.0 overall or above.
