This new course continues Loughborough College’s proud tradition of delivering higher education music programmes in a college environment. The course aims to create highly employable graduates, who enjoy exploring music in a multitude of ways, whilst being agile, creative thinkers who rise to challenges they are faced with.

Entry Requirements
GCSE Maths and English language at grade C/4 and one of the following:
• 64 points at A2 or equivalent, (e.g BTEC Extended Diploma), preferably
to include music, music technology or other music related
subjects.
• Recent study of relevant Access/Foundation course, with
audition.
• Applicants are invited to attend an audition and submit of a
portfolio. The portfolio can take the form of web links to both composition and
performance work. These are both diagnostic tools to help inform the application
process.
• Applicants with appropriate life experience but without the
standard entry requirements are encouraged to apply and will be considered on
their individual merits, based on the interview and completed
application.
• Alternatively, applicants may be able to gain entry to
Level 4 or advanced entry to Level 5 based on the evidence of other
qualifications or learning. In this case, Accreditation of Prior Experiential
Learning (APEL) or Accreditation of Prior Certified Learning (APCL) may be
possible.
